Building fork lift gate into 10' trailer. First thing... Cut out opening, below left. Next... Use cut out to build gate.

Next... Build hinges, below left. Put the gate back into cut out. Sorry, cloudy day. You can just see the hinges welded in, right picture.

Left using 20 ton, air over hydraulic, press to build lock parts. Used 1/2" round rod to press hinge into 1/8" x 1" bar stock. The press die block was a 5/8" curve. Worked out perfect. Picture... lower left is the press, lower right are the hinge parts.
